Su Jin Kong

Special Expert in International Regulatory Affairs and Representative to ICH, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Republic of Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Republic of Korea

Dr. Su Jin Kong is a senior expert in international regulatory affairs for pharmaceuticals at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), where she was responsible for overseeing international relations as the Director of International Cooperation.

Before joining MFDS, Republic of Korea Dr. Kong served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where she coordinated economic cooperation and negotiated international agreements. Drawing on her expertise in international affairs, Dr. Kong became a research professor in regional integration at Korea University and participated in government-sponsored projects related to public health and medical products.

Dr. Kong was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2009 and earned her Ph.D. in international law from Korea University, following her LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.
